Class Descriptions

Our Bikram-inspired, Hot Yoga classes consist of 2 breathing exercises and a series of 26 poses incorporating balance, strength and flexibility. This is a vigorous yoga practice that will open, strengthen, and detoxify your entire body. The room is heated to 102-104° Fahrenheit, with 50+% humidity. You will sweat, stretch, get strong and be amazed at what you can do!

We offer 60 minute Hot Yoga classes every day of the year and is choreographed from the same postures as the traditional 90 minute hot yoga class, but moves at a quicker flow and has a lot less rest. As a result of the faster pace, there are increased cardiovascular benefits, which help to create leaner muscles.

Bath size towel and yoga mat are required, rentals are available and water is highly recommended. Please come to class well hydrated.

Power Vinyasa is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. This type of yoga is taught in a heated studio which makes it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session. This practice as “the perfect blend of sweat and serenity.”

Vinyasa meaning, “flow” or “to move without resistance,” incorporates interval and cross-training exercises to challenge both the aerobic and anaerobic systems of the body. As your body adapts, it is important to vary the types, intensity and duration of the exercises. Power Vinyasa yoga incorporates regular sequences that become familiar to students, but incorporates variations to modify, intensify, or challenge the body by altering the pace or duration of poses, and the frequency that they are repeated.

This is a fun, high energy class! Inferno Hot Pilates is a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout using Pilates principles. High Intensity Interval Training is one of the fastest ways to burn fat and create long lean muscle mass: 20 minutes of HIIT burns as many calories as 45 minutes of running on the treadmill. This class will boost your metabolism and your body will continue to burn hundreds of calories after you are done exercising in what is referred to as the “after burn.”

Inferno Hot Pilates is performed in a room heated to 90-95° Fahrenheit with about 35% humidity. This 60 minute class is an intense, full body workout designed to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve overall health.

All ability levels are welcome. However, if you have high blood pressure, history of strokes or heart attacks, please consult with your doctor first to make sure you are physically capable of performing this class.

Restorative Yin Yoga is a wonderful complement to the more Yang/active styles of yoga we offer, Hot Yoga and Power Vinyasa Yoga. Yang relates to movement, often repetitive movement, creating heat in the body. Yin is about finding stillness and cooling the body. And, the theory goes, we need both to come into balance and stay in optimum health.

Our 1 hour Restorative Yin yoga class gives you a true opportunity to rest, recharge and renew by holding passive yoga poses, sitting or lying on the floor, for an extended period of time. With the support of props, students can achieve poses without muscular strength, facilitating release and relaxation that will calm the nervous system, coax away built-up tension, and heal the body. The class moves at a slow comfortable pace whereby postures are held for 3-5-7 minutes to achieve a deep level of relaxation. The class is taught in a non-heated room.

In Ashtanga Basics the class will strive to teach students with reverence to the Ashtanga tradition applied to the present moment.

We’ll focus on the Ashtanga Asana=Breath Sequencing and the use of Bandhas (physical energy directors) and Dristis (intentional gazing points) to keep us safe.

Workplace Yoga

You provide the space – we provide the teachers.

This option allows your company to create a specialized yoga program on-site for your employees. Sangha Hot Yoga will help you evaluate your space needs or capacity, provide you with a check list to get started, and coordinate employee communications to promote your classes and reach your participation targets. This is a turn-key program.


Your employees are members of Sangha Hot Yoga and can attend any of our 100+ classes per week. Cost can be a flat monthly fee for the company or based on actual usage at a discounted rate.
