Jeremy Schwisow

Jeremy Schwisow

Instructor

My yoga journey began right here back in 2015.  A wonderful human asked me to join them for a 6am class.  As challenging as that first class was, I was hooked.  Over the next several years My practice deepened beyond my expectations.  In my mind the next logical step was to become a teacher.  In 2020 I journeyed to the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii to complete my 250-hour certification.  When I returned, I happily returned joined the wonderful Sangha Team.  I strive to be a foundation upon which my students can stand and thrive.  Join me as I guide you both mentally and physically on the path of mindfulness.  The journey continues.

Katonah Yoga

Jessica’s yoga practice has taken a variety of forms over the past fifteen years, and it was through a series of fortunate events that she discovered the Katonah yoga practice while living in Western Canada. Katonah yoga offered her a newfound liberation in her body and being; this led her to discover everything she could about the practice and led her to her first Yoga Teacher training in 2017. Since then, she has taught yoga classes in Canada and Latin America before recently moving to California. Jess strives to provide experiential embodiment for her students through asana.

Jasmine Dunkl

Jasmine Dunkl

Vinyasa and Yoga Nidra Teacher

I’m Jasmine AKA the reluctant yogini. Knowing that yoga is “good for you” I have been approaching yoga since college but stillness and connecting with my breath made me so uncomfortable that I never kept up a practice. No studio felt like a right fit and I didn’t have the discipline to practice on my own.
Then 2020 hit and I went through a bit of an emotional and physical crisis that I wasn’t able to heal on my own.
I found Sangha and began taking the Hot 26 class (did I mention I also hate heat and sweating?). After a year of feeling better all around, I began pestering Jami to provide a YTT so I could deepen my practice beyond the physical practice of asana. The YTT introduced me to Vinyasa. Music, flowing movement, breath, stillness and creativity- a perfect fit. As I started teaching vinyasa classes, I experienced personal growth I did not anticipate. Experiencing the power of reflection and self knowledge through movement and teaching inspired me to learn more. I then pursued and completed certification in Yoga Nidra and plan to continue deepening my yoga practice through continued education.
Connecting body, mind, and spirit through yoga has now become a calling for me. I hope to see you in the hot room and support you in finding your path and a deep love for your body, mind and spirit

Amy Burke

Amy Burke

VInyasa Teacher

A Texas native, Amy has practiced yoga on and off for 25 years, beginning her journey while living in Arizona before coming to the west coast. Being a lover of all things movement, she taught group fitness classes and was a backpacking guide for many years before finally coming back to yoga searching for non-high impact option. Always searching for the perfect marriage of an intense workout while being less stressful on constantly injured joints, she fell in love with the mind-body pairing of Sangha’s vinyasa flow after being recommended by a friend. Now after completing her 200 hour teacher training, she hopes to continue sharing her version of a fitness based, high energy vinyasa flow that is both challenging and intense, but also stress relieving and low impact.

When not teaching or sweating it our herself at Sangha, she can be found running her own wedding and event floral design business, serving as chauffeur to her daughter’s activities, walking her Bernese Mountain Dog or just having a glass of wine with friends
